Jontheref/makemehappy - Im not sure why you think any team in the English Premiership should support a foreign Union and have loyalty to any other union than england!!! Any deviation from that would penalize England by limiting their options and diverting already limited funds (tv, sponsorship etc) from england to a foreign nation. if the RFU need any further excuse youve probably just presented it!
On a slightly different tack, I've often thought London Sottish and London Welsh would make fine additions to the Celic league - based in London and appealing to the expat community they might actually make a go of it, at least then they could be legitimate feeder teams for their respective national teams without handicapping their "home" union.

@jontheref - I think we've pretty much seen the end of the Dragons, and not sure whether Cardiff are far behind. So though its a shame, it might already have happened!

Could act as a fifth region.
But that may mean the demise of one of the four!
Once the WRU bean counters get the idea it would save money, they'll work towards it.
Hope not!

They deserve and have earnt entry into the premiership. Its a joke that the RFU is trying to stop them.

Surely the RFU cannot think they can beat a legal challenge. The RFU cannot rely on their current stance, without discriminating against London Welsh. I also think it will be great for Welsh rugby to have a team with links to Wales, playing in another league.

Good on them.
This mess needs to be cleared up sooner, rather than later. It's not fair on the club or the fans.
And, equally, it's not fair on the Falcons, who also need to know where their future lies.
