my choice this year is Cole. Of the candidates listed Brown.

Mike Brown, been excellent this year with try-scoring, counter attack, defense, etc. Robshaw a runner-up

Wood, Robshaw or Scaysbrook. I'd go Robshaw.

Dont remember Nick Wood being dominated at scrum time at all, our scrum has gone backwards since he has been injured! We were quite dominant at times in the scrum before his injury.

All are good nominations except Nick Wood who has been getting dominated at scrum time.

I know that Robshaw is a bit flavour of the month at the moment but my choice would be Mike Brown, I think the way Mr Angry has chainged his attitude and approach to the game is outstanding. Fantastic defender and a go forward player.
That said any of the others probably deserve it.

For my money, Scaysbrook should be a shoe-in for the award. The others have all played very well, Mike Brown in particular, but Scaysbrook has been the major catalyst, alongside the coaching of Rob Baxter (who should be coach of the year award), for Exeter's amazing second season. I hope they finish with a flourish!

Tough decision from 6 great players. I think I'd go for Brown or Salvi, as it's AP Player, but wouldn't be too bothered if any one of them got it.

With the exception of Barritt, all have been very good. I think Scaysbrook (has he ever played for England?) has been top drawer for Exeter. But I think the Award should go to Nick Wood ( WHY is'nt he playing for England, will someone please explain?).
I thought that Gloucesters recent slump was just coincidence with his injury but having seen their scrum crumble at the weekend,Dan Murphy was facing Tony Buckley for God's sake(they really should have a quality back-up for him), not to mention his contribution in defence and in attack the Cherry and Whites have missed him big time.
