It's a shame that it decended into this, as their lack of skill and finesse shoed through.
I suspect there will be a citing or two and those yellow cards will become greater sanctions in due course.

Im afraid Newcastle are in a position where they need to do whatever it takes to get some points on the board as they quite clearly dont have the quality to just go out and beat teams. It will be futile anyway because they wont stay up. Their only hope is that a team which does't have a stadium good enough to allow them to be promoted wins the Championship

Newcastle showing how to deal with a team that wants to play a lively passing game at pace - simply turn the game into a penalty fest and punch their lights out! Newcastle's lack of discipline and cynical lack of appreciation of skill made it hard for the better team to win, but it also reduces the game to an unentertaining slog out with little attraction for most rugby fans.
