Toulon fly-half Jonny Wilkinson was over the moon after kicking 13 points in his side's Heineken Cup Final win over Saracens.
Wilkinson converted both tries from Matt Giteau and Juan Smith while also adding two penalties and a brilliant drop goal to hold off the English title contenders.
Bowing out after next week's Top 14 Final, the 35-year-old received a roaring reception from the crowd at a sold-out Millennium Stadium.
"It's a hell of a feeling. I can't say enough just how I proud I am to be a part of this team, to have been able to play in this competition and to be able to play against teams like that as well," Wilkinson told Sky Sports.
"Our season's got one more week left but this is something I'll remember forever.
"There's a lot of relief, a lot of excitement, a lot of sheer adulation. At the moment, it's just trying to take it all in.
"It's a privilege to have been part of that game, to have been part of this final and to have won it - I couldn't have asked for more."
