In doubt: Luke McAlister

Toulouse fly-half Luke McAlister's participation in Saturday's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Munster is still in doubt.

The former All Black playmaker injured his back while scoring a try against Stade Français ten days ago and has yet to return to full training. On Monday he was still limited to stretching exercises.

Toulouse manager Guy Novès said that McAlister's condition will be reviewed again on Wednesday and call would be made on whether he will make the trip to Thomond Park.

Toulouse are also hoping flanker Yannick Nyanga, who suffered a sprained ankle in last weekend's narrow loss to Toulon in the Top 14, will be fit to play.

The same goes for Samoan prop Census Johnston, who left the field on a stretcher against Toulon. Novès confirmed that the measures were only precautionary however and that MRI scans had revealed no damage.

Number eight Louis Picamoles is also struggling with a hip injury but should be fit to start.
