Hoping for an upset: Guy Novès

Toulouse coach Guy Novès insists his side will travel to Thomond Park in April for their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Munster under "no pressure."

Munster have a formidable home record in Europe having lost just twice in Limerick since the tournament's inception. No French side has ever won there.

The Irish team also claimed the spoils the last time these side met - in the 2008 Final in Cardiff - but Novès says his team will welcome their status as underdogs.

"We will have absolutely no pressure on the result," said Novès.

"If we win, it's a bonus, if we lose, it's normal.

"The last time we played them it was in a final and I have pretty bad memories of that game.

"Munster also hold the record for the number of quarter-final appearances in the Heineken Cup and that speaks for itself. It's a nice challenge for us: whether we are favourites or not, I don't care.

"We will just try and play to our strengths out there. Nobody expects us to win at Munster. But nobody expected us to win at Wembley against Saracens in October and we did.

"Not playing at home is a disappointment for our fans and our partners. We wanted to please them. They deserved it after going a few years now without seeing a quarter-final at home.

Toulouse will travel to Ireland without skipper Thierry Dusautoir, who has been sidelined for four months with a biceps injury.

"Thierry is not easy to replace, he's simply irreplaceable," lamented Novès.

"On the pitch, in big games, he's always a key player. But we have 23 other players who will go to Munster and play. At least we will try to play for him."
