Toulon boss Bernard Laporte wants more of the same from his players when they take on Clermont in this week's Heineken Cup final in Dublin.

Europe's premier club competition will have a new name on its winning list this year, with the duo also still in the running for Top 14 honours.

Amid all the excitement though, boss Laporte believes his men shouldn't change a successful formula when they run out at the Aviva Stadium.

"They are going to play a final, there is nothing special to make, therefore they train, they play rugby, nothing more," Laporte told ercrugby.com.

"The injured say that they are not injured and everybody wants to be part of the group, which is perfectly logical."

Meanwhile, back-row forward Juan Martin Fernandez-Lobbe believes that having an extra week to prepare for this Saturday's showpiece - due to both teams having secured Top 14 semi-final spots after finishing one and two in France - has allowed them to address all aspects of their game.

"It is going to allow us to refine the slightest details, to think about absolutely everything ahead of such an important meeting for all of us," he said.

"It is really advantageous to have this time.

"We must remain calm and believe in ourselves because Clermont are an extremely strong team. In such matches, every single detail counts - starting with mental strength."
