Toulon lock Bakkies Botha after win

Reported by Cockerill: Botha

Leicester director of rugby Richard Cockerill was disappointed with the incident that left Marcos Ayerza with a suspected broken clavicle on Sunday.

Cockerill was upset with how the Argentine was injured against Toulon and pointed the finger at South African second-row forward Bakkies Botha.

"It looks like Ayerza's broken his clavicle from knee that (Bakkies) Botha put in. I have asked the citing commissioner to look at it," he said.

"People are sent from the field for slapping the ball down but you don't look at incidents like that - it makes the reffing world mad."
