Set to start: Bismarck du Plessis

Springbok head coach Heyneke Meyer has indicated that hooker Bismarck du Plessis is a likely starter for the team when they face Australia on Saturday.

Meyer said that changes were set to be made due to the travel factor of going to Argentina, back to South Africa and then on to Australasia to tour.

"There will be a few changes, mostly due to rotational, and also we want to have the most fresh as possible team on the field," Meyer said.

"We've travelled a lot and we're going to play three away matches on the trot and we have to travel for all three so it is important to have fresh guys."

South Africa have not won in seven attempts at this week's Brisbane venue but will fancy their chances as the Wallabies enter with selection dilemmas, one being who to start at number ten.

"I think it's just a matter of time when he (Quade Cooper) comes back, just hopefully not against the Boks," Meyer said.

"A player like that I would love to have in my team.

"I just believe if Cooper plays well and Genia plays well then the Wallabies play well."
