An injured Patricio Albacete will not feature on Argentina's Rugby Championship tour to New Zealand and Australia.
The second rower missed the Pumas' clash with South Africa last week due to a torn hamstring and has not recovered sufficiently to make the tour.
Coach Santiago Phelan will also be without the suspended Leonardo Senatore who has been banned for nine weeks after being found guilty of biting Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth.
There is some good news for the Pumas mentor though, with regular skipper Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe named in the squad despite being troubled by a calf injury.
Full-back Juan Martin Hernandez who missed the last week's Test is included and expected to be fit for the first Test against the All Blacks on September 7.
