Paddy Ryan, Nick Cummins, Dominic Shipperley, Ben Tapuai and Pat McCabe ...

It's like the who's-who of, who?!

Great to see some deserving players like D. Shipperley and N. Cummins get a chance. They need to be given game time this week. Put N. Cummins at 13 and see the fun. Now interesting thing is... will the over-rated veteran N.Sharpe still be given favourable treatment again to add caps to his name and become great. He doesn't have the stamina and fitness for Test rugby.

just my opinion, but I think the media and public have got too carried away with this ab side, falling into the trap set by walabies after that second test, saying this team is 'unbeatable' as a cover-up for their own evident inadequacies.

i think the team is very 'beatable' and while they may well go n to win this tournament, would pick they won't go through unbeaten. for people saying they would put 40-60 points on argentina or south africa - dream on - that 22-point margin may be about the biggest margin we see. too early to get carried away in the hype.

@ any1butt the ABs

It is really hard to say how the three positions will fall. NZ will obviously take top spot. You would hard pressed to find anyone that would bet against that. The aussies, while not playing all that well against the ABs, only lost their first game by 8 points, and only allowed the ABs to score one try in the second test. I don't agree that they were 'hammered' but they certainly were second best.

The way the boks faired last week makes it all the more difficult for me to pick who will be the better of the two when SA and AUS go head to head. and I can't right off an Argentina upset over the AUS. So other than the obvious favourites to win it, it's a tough beat as to who will finish second, third, and fourth respectively

If I had to pick it I'd say;

1. NZ

2. AUS

3. SA

4. ARG

But again, I really don't know...

I may have been a bit flippant about Oz but their lack of depth must be worrying, if their "star" players are out then they look very very ordinary ( despite their recruitment drives in the pacific islands ), whereas the AB 2nd or or even third team would roll them over ( and pretty much any one else at the moment truth be told ),

@any1buttheABs

I initially read your prediction and thought no way, but when you think about it, if Argentina show that physicality at home, I don't think Australia will cope.

On the flip side, if Australia click, they are close to matching NZ - I recall the first half in the 25-20 game in Tri-Nations last year against NZ. Argentina could not match that.

when is christian lealiżifano available to play again?

new_j4a - maybe they'll have jerseys 12a and 12b etc, for players like Cummins and Shipperley who replace Mitchell

Oz will be the argies and the saffers-you guys need to take off the rise tinted glasses. While oz didnt play well at all, both of those teams were worse in their games...Cheers

Interesting approach to the lack of quality....will they be numbered 1 through 20 on the field? Should be able to get losing bonus points against the Boks and the Argies unless they decide to play 20 at a time too?

@any1buttheABs I would agree totally. All Blacks have Argentina in Wellington, then South Africa in Dunedin. They have to lose a home game to lose grip on the first ever Championship. Win both the next at home and its in the bag. I think I will agree with your pick for 3rd and 4th too. Currently Argentina are ahead of Australia in one crucial stat - unbeaten at home.

Even if they added 5 to their "team" they still wouldn't have scored against the ABs.

My prediction for table at end of season:

1. All Blacks

2. SA

3.Argentina

4. Oz

Unless Oz get lucky and beat Argentina.
