and they lost him because . . . this from sydney news, about oz continuing to take 'cheap shots' - wallabies mistaking aggression for intimidation

"Anthony Faingaa stood up on New Zealand's side of the ruck and drove his left shoulder into the unguarded ribcage of opposition loose-head Tony Woodcock. Woodcock bent over in pain, clutching his left side. After 66 minutes he was forced to leave the field in discomfort, again with his hand on his left side"

they go on to say this was Faingaa's revenge for Woodcock " recklessly cleaning out his twin brother, Saia, in Christchurch in 2010"

oh, so that make it ok then.

NZ won't need him this weekend, but would like to see him back for the pumas clash. NZ are in no danger of losing to Argentina, but a solid scrum will help them get four tries. If the pumas can disrupt the Ab's set piece then their defense will be harder for NZ to break down.

Don't know, Argentina can definitely scrummage with the best of them. Years of 'friendlies' against the northern hemisphere teams will do that.

ABs lose Woodcock? Surely a bloke that size is hard to misplace. Ben Franks is a very capable operator at loosehead though and so is Crockett and with Kepu out the Aussie's reserve tighthead, probably Slipper, isn't going to give them much trouble.

Don't agree with Luke, won't make a blind bit of difference. I got a gut feeling it would be a bloodbath this weekend.
