It was a bit unfair for him to target all of Australia's forwards, and a few backs as well! Expect even more next weekend.

Geoegesmith... I kind of agree with you regarding Hooper, but you can't dismiss Pocock as a top draw fetcher either.... hmmm dilema

Read is the most underrated player in the world at the top test level. He does so much on the ball and defensively that is not heralded by many people, or maybe not understood by commentators on TV

@fattysock leave Trinats alone he is just lining up the excuses and being prepared. No1. it's the ref's fault. No 2. Home town advantage to the AB's - we all know there will be more Kiwi's in the crowd than Aussies. No. 3 Hoodo ground (well it must be cos it's not Suncorp). No 4. It's not fair because Oz have only won 7 from the last 29. No 5. RM is a cheat. No. 6 The Wannabies spent too much time looking at SBW's tats's and hairstyle. Just imagine the excuses if the Wannabies actually lose!!!

Read isnt saying anything new really,everyone targets the Australian front 5 .They are precived as weak espically in the scrum ,where they are eating grass more often than not most games.I have noticed a new tatic when under pressure though walking the scrum ,which is also illegal ,lets hope the ref notices and rules fairly come scrum time.As to the wallabies they will be targeting the ABs lineout ,which has looked dodgy in recent years.I feel the battle of the forwards will be decide by the backrows myself,where NZ imo hold a slim advantage .

@Trinats
I really really hope we win this game. Not just because I'm a Kiwi and I love holding the Bledisloe... but just so you can shut up about your damn referee conspiracy theory.
Why would you expect that a South African ref would be biased towards NZ?? I just don't get it...
(p.s. NH ref? How is your scrum going to get away with all those collapses now?)

"We want to play our kind of game, which is all about starting with the forward pack and setting the standard there."
You'll have to watch out Read, there's a NH ref this time !!!

K. Read vs S. Higginbottom will be interesting. Both are world-class. D. Pocock needs a big game, if not he should be replaced early in the 2nd half so that M. Hooper is given a fair chance to excel. M. Hooper is way much better then D.Pocock.
