JdV and Frans Steyn have the same game, altough with different characteristics.
We are still missing Jacque at 13, Boks' rush defence with him was always outstanding.
Pietersen could be a candidate for the 13 jersey.

Nobody of you have ever played in a backline, have you?
Flyhalf is not just about kicking, but to keep the opponents guessing. With M. Steyn in front of you, you do not need to guess and be ready to go back and building the net.
Not a bad player, although not Bok's level.

Always thought this guy was the most deadliest Bok player to play against! Anyone who can score points in their his half, or winning a game without leaving your own half, has to be the most valuable player of your team! A real strike weapon! I think it was in 08 or 07 where the ABS lost all their games to the Boks, this guy had to be responsible for most of those loses!

@SACanuck - I completely agree. I like M. Steyn as a player. But, it would be fantastic to see Peter Grant get a shot. He is Mr. Reliable right now. And, that's the kind of player you need to win matches. Give Steyn a break and a shot to get his form back at Currie Cup level.

Regarding the Morne item we have to remember that the Boks rely on the kicking game, no matter if it is for tactical reasons or keeping the score board rolling from penalties, hence if the guy in that possition is not doing the job, winning becomes that more difficult. How long do you wait for him to get "it" back.? As far as I am concerned the best way for him to get it back is at the Currie Cup level, and when he has found it bring him back.
