"But hey if he brings some of that to England that will be great for England."
Hopefully, better than he did as a player in union...
I know the man had a storied career in league, but I don't understand why he is viewed so favourably for union...
Perhaps one of you fine English gents can enlighten me...

Pleased for the man and for England... but... a small part of me (and no disrespect to Andy Farrell) longs for Sean Edwards to be there... What could have been.

I agree. Good call with Farrell, but will Catt hack it as the attack coach? I wonder if the 'x' factor is missing somewhere?

Wonder if Catt will get offer full time attack? Looks like Lancaster is considering options or he'd have announced same time.

I hope they also keep Catt for his vision and attack, as we need both.

This is a great appointment and clearly against SA we were missing a defence coach.
He was a legend for league, and I was told one of the hardest men to play the game. I know thats someones opinion. But hey if he brings some of that to England that will be great for England.
