I thought you would have taken it as yours was intended!
Bit rich of others to callhim "man of gwent".
Long way from there!
Salford is probably nearer!

@maorihill - Ignore the number on his back, Dusatoir is an openside, the same as Brussow.
@paddy91317 - Ferris is a good player no doubt, but was completely average this tournament. It's quite telling that for all the slagging off Robshaw and Croft have had, they dominated O'Brien, Heaslip and Ferris in the final game. Ferris needs to keep his north shut a bit more and they all need to put a shift in at the scrum instead of poncing about.

Jontheref- it was a tongue in cheek comment. I'm not upset, not much anyway.
Interesting though how people's perspective changes when the shoe is on the other foot.

I think people can complain, with good reason, about the nominations. Only picking the MOTMs from the first four rounds is an unbiased way of picking candidates, but inherently flawed by totally excluding the last 20% of the tournament, and presuming that each individual carried the same performance levels across the tournament.
However no-one can complain about the result. There has been no player who has been so phenomenal across the tournament. He missed the first game against Ireland, and in his absence Ryan Jones gave his all and rightfully won plaudits from players and spectators, but since Dan came back he's been an unrelenting force in pushing the opposition back - literally, psychologically, figuratively and by pretty much all definitions. He has been the key figure in keeping us on the front foot. I'm really, really proud of Dan. He's become a real hero of Gwent.

Born in Salford, raised in Llandridod Wells.
Spent more time in Wales than many of the English squad have spent in England!
Hope that upsets you!
:-)
Touche!

Quite well done...but to argue that grey shouldn't have got that award is preposterous, to the extent that it's outrageous he didn't make the shortlist...

Time for Wales to step up and regularly beat the 3 SH giants.
It all starts with the tour of Aust in June.
Quite possibly, this is the most important tour in years for Wales.

@Centre12 - I'd say number 8 is far from a concern. The number 8's generally all played (or can play) well. Surprised you forgot about the welsh number 8 who would have kept Morgan out of the side, had he opted for Wales.

A well deserved gong for a change - he makes even old Melon Head look a bit pansy in the tackle-count stakes!

Lions back row is going to be pretty special in two years, there are no shortage of world class flankers about, #8 seems to be a bit more of a concern but i'd imagine Heaslip and Morgan will be there or there about's.
