It looks like Brunel is the new Marc Lievremont. He's been chopping and changing at a ridiculous rate all season, and it's not as if he's brought in a whole load of new lads. Has he started the same second row or centre pairing all tournament?
If he doesn't reckon D'Apice is good enough to start against Scotland (which he isn't) then why didn't he pick Ongaro on the bench in the first place? Ongaro is clearly the number 2 No. 2 in Italy, and if Brunel isn't gonna promote D'Apice when Ghiraldini's unavailable what was the point in having him on the bench in the first 4 games?
On an unrelated note where is Michele Rizzo! He's the best loosehead Italy has and Brunel ignores him for Lo Cicero (who's unfortunately past his best)!
