Personally, I still think Tuilagi would make a better 12 than 13. I see him much more as Nonu was when he started.

I think long term, I'd like to see Tuilagi at 12 & Trinder or Joseph at 13 (maybe even May at 13).

I think if we end up with 3 midfielders of Flood, Farrell, Barritt or Twelvetrees to go with Tuilagi, we're really struggling with pace and creativity in midfield.

Personally, I see Ford as the future at 10, he will be an outstanding talent. Why don't we chuck him in the deep end now and see how he gets on?

Ford. Burns. Farrell. Flood. Heathcote. Cipriani.

All young enough to play in 2015 and some in 2019...

But I see 10 Farrell, 12 Twelvetrees and 13 Tuilagi. But 12Trees is a couple of years off, so it's Barritt at 12 for the time being, Flood at 10, with Farrell on the bench, I'm sorry to say.

@ Benski,.. whoever Gatland chooses in whatever position,.. it will be beause they are the best available in that position,.. not because he coaches them at international level.

@NHsaints, George Ford plays a passing/running game. His kicking is good, but that isn't his style. He unlocks backlines rather than playing the controlling style of game that Farrell and Wilkinson play. Ford would definitely be from the Dan Carter class of play (not saying he is going to be the next Dan Carter... I'm not an idiot)

Have to agree the similarities between the 2 are imense ...But lets not put undue prssure on his young shoulders just yet please. We are lucky to have a lot of potential 10s atm or comming thru he will have to really prove his worth for the 10 shirt and maybe needs to be just a tad more creative atm imo but it will come as he adapts to the pace ect of international matches

Maybe another Danny Cipriani, He has one average game then he's the next world cup winner!! 1st choice flyhalf for the British & Irish lions next year are you serious????

Completely agree with the comparison...very professional, very cool head, great goal kicker...not the most creative player and needs a creative 12 outside him just like greenwood was with wilko ....hopefully he will push charlie for the 10 spot for england and sarries and we can develop him there as its still early days in his learning curve...flood took a few seasons to become an accomplished 10.

We then need a creative 12, i have alot of hope for twelvetrees, he reminds me of greenwood with a better boot ! Farrell, flood, returning cipriani etc...can then all fight it out then for the next 4 years.

And before anyone crys about me mentioning cipriani and england in the same sentance...his first game this season for the rebels was immense in attack AND defense.

It's perceivable but george ford is more likely to step into that role than Farrel...
