In my humble opinion Parra is not the type of scrum-half France needs. He's slow and he never tries to run with the ball. Some of his tactical decisions are not the best and as a scrum-half he is the first one to have the ball in most plays. For closing down matches he can be the right man. The French backs have not had decent ball despite having a fantastic set of forwards.

This is annoying. Why don't they give credit to Italy?

You have to be at the top to win with Italy now, and France were not.

My opinion is the reason of their poor performance is the continuos re-shuffle in the backs department and, above all, bringing in Huget, who was useless in all the four games.

Stick on the Toulousains for the back three (including Heymans), no Rougerie in the centres (just keep two among Jauzion, Trialle, Marty, Fritz), not sure about Trihh Duc ahead of Skrela.

No European team has such a wealth in the back department.

Apart from poor selection by the Coaches, Parra's slow ball distribution and at times aimless up and unders has also contributed to lack lusture performances by France. Hope this time around, we are all proved wrong.
