@ melkdave - a voice of reason!
It really can't come soon enough - that said we do need the 3 or so years to actually develop a team who might, just might, be capable of being competitive (notice I don't say winning it).
Exciting times (for a change) for England fans. Home advantage will be huge - which is good enough reason in itself to keep all the games away from Wales and Scotland - not to mention the financial rewards versus the cost of putting on the show.
Anyway - with the devolution issue Scotland could be well on the way to becoming a separate country anyway by then.

Well it will come along fast enough lads and ladettes ,cant wait myself, thats if we are all still here 2012 doomsday prophies ect LOLAlso got to agree with the Wales issue they shouldnt play any group game in Cardiff .Infact i cant understand why its even considered as a venue .We have big fantastic football stadiums in Manchester -Birmigham -London ect which can hold 60K+ fans for the QFs and SFs if needed. We dont need Murryfeild or the Millienium at all so dont use them simple imo.

@Stellenbosched2 - oh, I've since discovered that Kidney's not even worth an iPad...perhaps I'll have to rethink my strategy.
The name's just a moniker that's stuck with me on the interwebs for as long as I can remember, partly based on my name.

Hi lawynd (what does the name mean?)
How much do you think you will get for selling the Irish coach? Would love to know his market value.

I was lucky enough to go on an extreme rugby tour of NZ during last year's rwc and loved it! I've got the bug and will be looking for a similar experience in England. lots of quad biking, sky diving, coasteering, riding in microlights, white water rafting, kayaking you get the idea. play hard in the afternoon, hit the pubs in the evening and catch as many matches as poss!

I may have to sell a kidney so I can go on the Lions Tour next year and go to as many games as I can in 2015!

Bring it on! Can't wait!
While New Zealand put on a hell of a show (and was an amazing place to tour) let's show them what big stadiums and crowds really are!
Oh - and let's not give Wales and Scotland home advantage by letting them play in the Millennium Stadium - they haven't put a green bean into hosting the tournament so let them be away teams like the rest of the nations.
Come on England!
