All Blacks Sevens star Lote Raikabula has been ruled out ahead of the Las Vegas leg and has been replaced by Taranaki back Warwick Lahmert.
Raikabula suffered an ankle strain during training on Thursday. He was captaining the side in the absence of the injured DJ Forbes. Tomasi Cama takes over the captaincy duties this weekend.
Lahmert made his debut for the All Blacks Sevens at the Gold Coast Sevens last October and led the New Zealand Emerging Players side that took part in the recent Uprising Sevens tournament in Fiji. He is due to arrive in Las Vegas on Friday.
