@kitch. my turn to reply on behalf of Toulousain (if I may).
hmmm. we see your true colours methinks. never from the safety of simple caricature in your descriptions of the French (whom you admit you know very little about - just what you've been conditioned to think by NZ press). where did all those stereotypes come from? hate the french much?
(a team, in case you needed reminding, who together with the ABs are the only nation to have made 6 out of 7 semis in RWC history - how very inconsistent! - and who in knock-out games at RWC are 2-all with your mighty ABs - what a travesty!)
I'll stop myself there, in case you think I start sounding "undisciplined, spoilt, disobedient, selfish, always complaining, always whining..." (are any of these character traits scientifically measurable i wonder?)
dear oh dear. come on kitch. some advice. open your eyes. get through denial and anger, and you will be on the road to acceptance. face it. you've allowed yourself to be completely "played" by your own media and fear of failure that the French have become your bogey men. They have no special powers you know. Just 15 blokes who occasionally play good enough footie to scare you. Don't be scared into being a hater. Just because lots of others like safehands feel the same, doesn't make it right.
For the record, we French adore the ABs, as Toulousain has said. We just didn't like the propaganda campaign we encountered during our recent visit. It's not like we got drunk in bars, leered at hotel staff, tossed dwarves, jumped into the harbour, and crashed out in the semis. (Oooops, sorry APV1, getting blown off-piste there....).

I can't make up my mind who are the biggest morons, journalists who misquote, or those who fail to read the original statement. Please show me where Lord Ted accuses anyone of anything. These people could all get jobs on Fox News, the most creative news sevice in the world. The rest of the haters clearly qualify for the The Teabag Party and/or the Ku Klux Clan (aka Liberal Nazi Party in Oz, or Repugnant Party in the US).
In the past it was easy to distinguish between league and union fans with a simple literacy test. It seems things have changed in GB where few can write with any degree of cogency and blame Oz for thier lack of ackievements at the London 2012 Drugfest or any other contest.

@bokAvenger, I am deeply insulted by your calling my "brother." @all, I want the whole PR community to know that we are not related in any way although it is very difficult for me to prove this due to the impossibility of determining who fathered bokAvenger....the most likely candidate appears to be his grandfather.

BokAvenger says...why is PR censoring my comments?
@PR Ed, Thank You!
Posted 03:53 02nd August 2012
Yet to see, hear , read or whatever anything where Graham Henry has accused anyone of match fixing. Please enlighten us....
Posted 01:38 02nd August 2012
@BokAvenger "why are PR censoring my comments" because you old leather muncher as APV1 so eloquently put it - "YOU ARE A TWERP"
Posted 01:01 02nd August 2012
Your advice on geography to BokAvenger has made my day. From now on every post you make will read with the utmost respect... even the crappy ones;-)

why is PR censoring my comments?
Probably because people like you don't deserve a voice.

toulousain..i geuss youre not one of those "genuine, smart, rugby loving people who can rise above what they read in the press" either, bc here you are!! but dont worry thats what forums are for!
the media here didnt have to go on a witch hunt, nor did henry or mccaw need to "influence" the media.. you guys provided them with plenty of hillarity to write about yourselves!..spitting, reducing bar staff to tears, stealing memory cards from cameras, slapping...this on top of another arrogant, petulant, childish display by another french national team.. "french rugby players laughed at the french football players last year. But in some respect, we didnt get off the bus either".. "theyre a bunch of undisciplined spoilt brats, disobedient, sometimes selfish, always complaining, always whining..."..put that together with 2 loses in pool play, clercs dives in the game against wales of which you couldnt even score a try against 14 men, and their inconsistency on the international stage... im afraid i and alot of others agree with safehands that it would have been a bit of a travesty if france had won.
having said that.. you guys did make the finals and gained some respect for finally showing us the french we know but for me it was then unfortunately tarnished some what by that gutless cowardly eye gouger... dont get me wrong here i think richard loe is in the same boat.. as is any coward who attacks the eyes

@APV1, wish I'd said that, especially the twerp bit...far too underused, that word.

BokAvenger, you do realise you're an antipodean as well, you clown!
If you can find anywhere it says that Bryce Lawrence has been banned for "blatant bias" then we'd all like to see it, thank you.
A spear tackle is named after a spear for the obvious reason of landing on a point, like the head or a similar motion, John Smit landed on his back, maybe a pancake tackle but not a spear. Also that penalty wasn't awarded for the player diving out of the lineout.. if you're going to throw out accusations, you need to get your facts straight. And speaking of respect, let's not get starting on how to respect your fellow countrymen, shall we?! You lost all respect a long time ago. Sorry bru, no conspiracy theory there.

Well done BokAvenger! Rugby fans should be united in their condemnation of Graham Henry and/or a debate on how to improve refereeing, but instead everyone is talking about your demented drivel and the Henry issue is barely mentioned.
To all other posters - the best thing to do is ignore BokAvenger posts. I think we all know that he is the type of South African who harks back to "the good old days". Probably best mates with Eugene Terreblanche, refers to Zimbabwe as Rhodesia etc etc
As a South African he makes me feel sick.

@Toulousain. Thanks for the support. I always read your posts with interest. You are a little like ColinR. Infrequent but worthwhile. Keep them coming! See you back on the French pages too :-)

@new_j4a: Oh and boet (sorry couldn't resist the sarcasm) I almost forgot to point out that from where I'm sitting it's actually me prodding you sensitive little souls sheltering behind your politically correct cage bars. And as always, on que you lot take the bait every time and start hurling abuse. HA, HA, HA, ha, ha ha ha!!!
Which brings me to APV1's question. I'm just balancing out the one-sided pro-Anglo Saxon rubbish that gets put on this site. FACT: Saffas claimed match fixing after 2011 RWC and PR lampooned us. Graham Henry claims match fixing and we get a sympathetic feature on how he's just being misunderstood. So there, someone needs to balance things out a bit. After all, every fairy tale needs a villain.

Almost forgot, @kiwilad, thanks for the support...I lived with people like BokAvenger for years....being called a bum creeper is a compliment...I'll start to worry if he calls me boet (brother).

McCaw is a IRB santioned cheat... using your logic then Barnes must have went against IRB instruction in 2007 when he failed to police the French at the ruck properly.
However, you really crown yourself in the glorification of being the number one numpty poster with the comparison betweent he Warburton tackle and the Thorn incident.
