I dont know what all the fuss is about .Like MJ said shock horror rugby player lets off steam by haveing a pint .As long as it dosent interfere with his training and team obligations i see no harm if it dose he shouldnt be in the squad .Dont know if you can throw a player out of the squad though?? .I think injury is the only way you can replace players or a crimanal act ect l.At least we now know why his not been selected for a game .

if he has a bloody drinking problem why the hell was he chosen for the Squad????

you would leave out Hosea Gear and Sivivatu for a guy with a drinking problem and has not played a game yet probably not for the France game either if he does not play for the Canada he should not be used at all? and i don't expect Henry & Co. to just throw him into the deep end in the knockouts/

Oh no!!!!! Zac, you should have claimed some money from the media first before you shared anything about yourself. You are in the public arena and anything you say should earn you some $. The media lives on people like you and any other ABs player.

Good on him for admitting it. But does he have a "problem", or is he just a typical 21 year old bloke?

I realise that Zac is representing his country and all of that crap we're fed every time a player does something "untoward", but truth be told, he's no different than the rest of us. Most rugby fans hit a few, except they do it before, during and after a game. If anything Zac WAS representing his countrymen just fine. Schalk Burger has been known to have more than just a few, in fact, the whole Springbok rugby team has a few after the game. I'm sure most players have a couple. I'm South African and I don't have a problem with that. If they get trashed and start beating their wives or driving recklessly, then obviously it's a different story, but why must we insist on candy coating all these incidents with the usual apologetic nonsense when we really know it's a load of bull. The same thing happened when James O'Connor overslept. Oh shock horror, he let himself and his teammates down. Whatever. What he did is he showed that he's just human like the rest of us. If Zac has a drinking problem then that's his issue.

What was Kiwirooster saying about binge-drinking and acting like 'a total prat'? ;)

In all seriousness, admitting you've got a problem is the first step to solving it, and it takes some stones to do it to the press in this way too. Here's hoping the lad can get it nipped in the bud.
