Bok team announced:) :
1Beast , 2Bizzy , 3Coenie , 4Eben , 5Bekker , 6CJ Stander , 7Alberts , 8Vermeulen , 9Hougie , 10Goosen , 11JJ Engel , 12F Steyn , 13J Taute , 14Aplon , 15Lambie (2013!!)
Not a bad team, but with Goosen out I would put Lambie at 10 with Joe Pietersen at 15

Has he shown any form at all lately? He was poor for a year before RWC and poor during RWC. In contrast Hougard was excellent during RWC -- is playing pretty well now, and Pretorius, Duvenhage and others are all playing well. Why should anyone play a past-it just on the negligible chance he finds form of 5 years ago? The national side is surely not a rest haven for old Bulls? He actually merely stated the obvious--namely that if picked he would play. It's up to the selectors to avoid the mistakes of RWC and pick form players--but as the RWC showed, SA selectors see the world from a weird perspective--the standout being the selection of Smit who was the 7th or 8th best hooker in SA at the time

i can accept du preez but please not matfield. hougaard can start at 9 with du preez on the bench but elstadt and bekker are surely good enough for the locks.

these guys need to let the young guns play. You have had your days in the sun. Now we must rely on lambie, houugaard et al. Please remain a legend and not do a smit and play past your prime.

Du Preez is still young enough to play at the top for a few years, it would be great to see him get his old passion and fire back. Experience is invaluable, even if he just trains with the squad and plays from the bench. Same goes for Pienaar at Ulster. I agree with Daibok though re Matfield.
