I suppose it is just a question now of which 2 wings are chosen to chase the kicks.
I Hope I'm wrong.

I just don't get why the dude from the stormers is not the defence coach. After all the best defence in the super 15 happens to be the stormers. I agree Mitchell should be involved as he is a fantastic coach. Eddie Jones for the backline. We want innovation and I think a 10 man game plan at international level more frequently does not work. I am just holding my breath till June 9.

SARU made a grave mistake. They should have appointed Meyer instead of PDV and PDV now. Meyer with that team full of Bulls players would have done well, who know even retained the world cup. SA played like headless chickens in the quarters with all that possession and territory. Meyer is going to screw the new talent he has in his disposal. Why not appoint John Mitchell or Eddie Jones as the backline coach. Get that Stormers guy for defence coach. 4 more years of kick and chase. Bulls rugby is great if it works to precision but how many of these Bulls players will make the Boks squad??? Lets wait and see.

So the Bulls style of 08-09 is how the bokkes want to play .Pity its the same old gameplan used by PDV .Was hoping HM would try something new and maybe aim for a more expansive bokkes sytle of play .Rather than it getting to 10 and it being kicked most of the time OH WELL i can still live in hope

Don't worry JayStarr, he's already setting up his excuses:
""It was always going to be a big ask to start from scratch with less than a week before we face the English"

Is it April Fools again already..?
Ricardo Laubscher - are you KIDDING me? Any one of the players who would make the Springbok backline knows more about attacking rugby than he does! Or is this a sign that a backline coach won't in fact be needed..? The ball will get to Morné Steyn... I'm starting to feel sick.
