Good news for Derek Hougaard then for the Summer tour, Meyer will be straight on the blower. Real shame though in all seriousness, I'm a neutral really and I enjoy watching individual performances as much as anything so I agree with the posts below about wishing him a full and speedy recovery. Watching Morne Steyn strangle the life out of teams with his kicking can be pretty frustrating at times!

Feel for the Cheetahs fans . If it wasn't bad enough they lost with that shocking kick.
Goosen is the sort of player I can watch all day even if he is tearing up a Kiwi team .

I was just thinking about how important a fly-half is... They must direct their backline, be a good passer, good defender, kick for touch, kick goals, make crucial & immediate decisions. They are the equivalent of a QB in football - the most important position on the field.
For example look at the 10's that have won Super Rugby. Carlos Spencer, Andrew Mehrtens, Stephen Larkham, Dan Carter, Morne Steyn, & Quade Cooper. If you were to pick the top 6 fly-halfs to come out of the SH in the last 15 years they would probably be a lot of peoples top 6.
Goosen is certainly an exciting prospect. I think he's already proven that he's going to be world class for years to come. Just hope he's not plagued by injuries.
