Nice one, great to see such unpredictable results in this tournament (although I fully expect the baby blacks to win it all come the end!!)

Looking at the results now, Wales are best in line to get the last semi-final spot, they can still bag two big wins in total, Ireland & Argentina need to overcome that points difference first.
Great to see some upsets, I love upsets! Congrats to Ireland and Argentina.

Why is this such a shock, Irish rugby is going through big changes and soon could be the most popular field sport in the country where about 12 years ago it was the 4th most popular field sport...Lots of skilled kids who normally would have played Gaelic Football, Hurley and Soccer are now playing rugby instead...Irish rugby is only going to get even stronger, that's of course, if every teenager in the country hasn't emigrated by then

What a nerve, how dare the Irish beat a Southern Hemisphere team. It just can't happen. Just shows the narrow margin of skill found in the top 7-8 teams, International Rugby is never a given. Good for a laugh though.

Wow. And I was worried about the SA team having S15 players!Well done Ireland.
England should win Pool B and play Aussie in one semi while Ireland or Argentina play NZ in the other Semi
SA will have to beat England and cant see that happening somehow

Well it certainly is a shock though considering an Irish national side has never won in South Africa before & most people were thinking this was a great opportunity for the home side to win the JWC.
Great result for Argentina too.

bigger shock was the behaviour of the ref!!! He did everything he could to get South Africa back into the game. It would have been scandalous if Ireland were beaten here. Ireland seemed to be forever offside while the Saffers were never caught!
I was amazed he blew it up before the scrum after the way he performed. Lets hope its not an Irish, South African final.
On a brighter note, well done Ireland. What a game by JJ Hanrahan at 10 and what an impact sub James Rael was!!! On 30 seconds and sets up a try!!
Go on Mike Ruddock! Give us something to cheer about coz God knows Declan Kidney won't!!!

No shock at all. This is what happens when you pick all your Afrikaner buddies' sons in the team and base your game plan on a stupid kick 'n chase strategy when your scrumhalf telegraphs every single kick by producing one of those stupid tunnel ball boneheaded bulls initiatives at every ruck. Well done to the Irish - they played rugby on the night while the Baby boks played bonehead ball. Get rid of Dawie Theron and his stupid brandewyn en Coke inspired game plan.

Not a huge shock. Ireland looked pretty decent in the 6N games. Certainly deserved their win.
