Sad news: Ebongue Sipamio

Racing Métro have announced that young prop Ebongue Sipamio died on Tuesday just two days after he helped his side win the French national title.

The 19-year-old's cause of death was not given, only that he "died Tuesday evening in his room at Plessis-Robinson" where the club's headquarters are located, Racing announced in a statement.

"An autopsy is underway to determine the causes of death," the club said without providing details.

Sipamio, also a member of the French academy, helped Racing to the U19 national title on Sunday.
