Clermont s French scrum half Morgan Parra 2nd L reacts after receiving a red card

Morgan Parra: Verdict on Wednesday

Clermont and France scrum-half Morgan Parra will appear before an LNR Disciplinary Committee hearing on Wednesday after being sent off against Montpellier last Saturday.

Parra was shown a straight red card for an alleged headbutt on Montpellier wing Rene Ranger midway through the first half. (Clermont nevertheless went on to win 42-16). Ranger was shown a yellow card for the tackle that sparked the incident.

Parra and his club requested that the hearing, originally scheduled for 12 March, be brought forward to Wednesday.

Parra - who has 52 caps for France - has been named in the French squad set to clash with Scotland at Murrayfield, meaning that his participation in this year's Six Nations will depend on Wednesday's verdict.

Did Parra deserve a red card? Judge for yourself in the video below.
