Frederic Michalak: Dislocated a shoulder

Toulon and France fly-half Frederic Michalak faces at least three weeks on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder.

That is the word from France boss Philippe Saint-André after Michalak was forced off nine minutes from time, with the injury to his left shoulder, in France's 23-16 win over Scotland.

The 30-year-old had his arm in a sling on Sunday at France's Parisien hotel.

Saint-André said he would be out for "a minimum of three to four weeks" meaning he risks missing Toulon's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leicester on April 7.

There was better news concerning Clermont's Morgan Parra, however, despite the France scrum-half hobbling about on crutches on Sunday.

He was replaced at half-time against Scotland after injuring his ankle and lower leg but Saint-Andre said "the news is largely good" when asked about Parra.

It means he should be fit for Clermont's Heineken Cup quarter-final at home to Montpellier on April 6.

As if he was going to be Toulon's starting fly-half over Wilkinson or Giteau.
