Boo hoo. Fact is Ireland beating Oz in the POOL game was their final. A poor show against Wales showed they were mentally expecting that result to get them the 1/4. That says a lot about them as an international side. Your bandwagon diarrhoea re the RWC final speaks volumes. Fact is NZ are the world champs just like SA were in 07 & Eng 03 - World Champs. You need to be in a final to win it & the only teams in that comp that deserved to be in the final were Wales, SA & NZ. At least we're good enough to get the label choker which is better than many of the Irish labels going around

paddy91317 -- aw you think an irish player would make an allblacks squad how cute. kearney would find himself behind dagg, smith, taylor and robinson for starters then jane and barrett from there. maybe he would be next in line if ice man was still injured. healy? dont have time for that reply.

I'm sure many people would disagree about that. Things probably would have been different were it not for Wayne Barnes or Peter Allan...

Deep down the Irish know they cant beat the ABs, their fans know it as well. I have watched Ireland play the All Blacks at both the new Aviva and the match that was played at Croake park and whilst the Irish supporters are patriotic rugby is just not their game, they dont have the same general passion and therefore their kids dont have the skills necessary to beat NZ at rugby. After a match vs Ireland in Dublin you talk to the locals and whilst they are gracious losers you get the feeling they knew they were without a chance. SImilar in Wales, four time I have seen matches at Cardiff and whilst the Welsh are more passionate supporters and have come close to bettering NZ in recent times I got the feeling talking to people that they were happy to be competitive, the 1 point loss back in 2004 (I think) was a prime example, the Welsh supporters were very happy with that result, it wasn't a win nor a draw but they took satisfaction out of it anyway.

Back to this game Ireland are going to get hammered, less than 20 points then the Irish can consider themselves lucky

BOD 10 June 2010 in PR "the next time you play the All Blacks is the best time to beat them, and Saturday just happens to be the next time."

12 June 2010: Ireland 28 NZ 66.

@Trader2

The AB's held on by the skin of their teeth in the RWC to win by 1 point to an under-done French side who would probably have won if another 5 minutes had elapsed.

How do you think you would have gone against SA??

That was the most blatantly rigged match ever seen in this competition. If it wasn't bad enough Wales got cheated in one quarter final, it certainly made it obvious that the AB's weren't going to get stiff opposition with Bryce Lawrence guiding proceedings in the other.

In fact it would be fair to say that "Bryce Lawrence" was by far NZ's player of the tournament. He certainly had more impact than the rest of the (playing squad).

I have replayed this game on more than 6 occassion's, & having played this game for most of my life, I would have found it understandable to see SA walk off against Australia. I challenge you to revisit that game with (eye's open) & make judgement. Perhaps he was all to aware of the "choking syndrome" the AB's suffer in WC's & wanted to give them an easier ride?????

Kearney is confident of getting a schlacking! Ireland have a chance if it is crap weather and a woman called Susie feeds the AB's before the game. AB's by 20 points.

Yes I got the names wrong but I did see the game & (remember the incident very well). So just cut the crap and call a spade a spade or in your case a spude.

I really think Wales will not have to wait another 59 years to beat the AB's in fact I'm certain that they will beat them in the next few. As for the typo's check some of yours. So thunks again mute!!

We havent hope without O'Connell and Ferris. It was a slim chance even if they were fully fit and playing. Expect to lose by about 20points. Hopefully heaslip doesnt get red carded like the last time. That was a long and painful match to watch

Not sure about what you wrote. Dagg is more brilliant and creative, however he has so many days off yet. Kearney is more functional to help his team regain territory and his extremely solid in defence.

Two extremely good players, will be exciting to watch.

To be honest, anything different from a 3-0 would be a surprise.

Let's hope that the Irish can put a decent fight in and give us decent game to watch.

pog_mahone - Dagg is by far a better player than Kearney. Did u watch the world cup? Even Ben Smith and Andre Taylor would smoke him
