TBH, the cost of the ticket does not bother me as much as the fact that I can't get a decent seat. I am totally fed up of not being able to get an east or west stand seat at the MS. This year after only being able to get seats from ticketmaster up in the gods in the corner or the restricted view seats of L14 I decided not to buy, the seats offered to me by club were just as bad.

I paid about £160 for 2 behind the posts seats at Twickenham last week. I've just paid a similar amount for 2 tickets behind the posts for England v Scotland in March - I was also charged about £10 on top for the privilege of paying for them and having them sent to me (that really is a bl**dy cheek)!
Add to this the fact that I've paid for the tickets 4 months before the game, giving the RFU loads of income way before I get any benefit out of it. Of course, whilst at Twickenham I will pay £4.50 for a pint and £6 for a pork baguette, so it's hard to stop the word "fleeced" coming to mind.
They might point out that England games are generally sold out anyway so it's "just supply and demand, mate". They still need to be careful not to shoot the goose that laid the golden egg...

One factor not mentioned here is ticket pricing. At the Wales game last weekend, tickets that cost £75 were about £50 last year. Surely a better pricing policy would help to get the full stadiums we've seen in the past for these fixtures.
