Toulon switch: Ian Evans

Ospreys and Wales second-row Ian Evans has reportedly agreed to join French giants Toulon on a three-year contract.

MailOnline Sport reported on Tuesday that the 29-year-old has finalised the deal with the Top14 club, joining arguably the most illustrious domestic roster in world rugby.

Evans, standing at 6ft 8in (2.03 metres) tall, toured with the British and Irish Lions this year, and has 30 Welsh caps to his name.

His reported move is further testament to the ongoing "player exodus" from the Welsh regions to both England and France.

The second-row would join the likes of Jamie Roberts, James Hook, Dan Lydiate and Luke Charteris in the Top14 league, with fellow Lions star Jonathan Davies set to join Clermont at the end of the season.
