Toby Faletau Wales v Argentina 2012

Physicality key: Faletau

Toby Faletau knows Wales must front up to the physical challenge presented by Argentina in Cardiff on Saturday.

Last Saturday saw Wales go down 24-15 in their November Test opener to a powerful South African side at the Millennium Stadium, and must bounce back to take on a Pumas outfit that were similarly outclassed by England at Twickenham.

And Faletau acknowledges the physical effort expended by he and his team-mates when the Springboks came calling.

"That was up there with one of the most physical games I've played in and it took its toll," Faletau told the Western Telegraph.

"I was disappointed with the result I guess. But to play one of the best teams in the world is a great experience and it was a good learning curve.

"We've got to recover and get ourselves ready for Argentina this weekend which will be another physical challenge."

Argentina will be without inspirational skipper Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe for the Cardiff match-up, but Faletau is under no illusions as to how tough the Test will be - especially given Wales lost this fixture a year ago.

"We lost to them last year and hopefully it will be a better result this time," added Faletau.

"Argentina are big brutes so we've got to match their physicality and their forwards.

"I think we managed to match South Africa's physicality but we just couldn't get enough points on the board.

"They will miss Lobbe - he's been such a big player for them - but I'm sure the player in his place will do just as well."
