Wales fly-half Sam Davies has been crowned the IRB Junior Player of the Year following the end of the Junior World Championship.
Davies beat England number eight and captain Jack Clifford and New Zealand flanker Ardie Savea to the accolade.
Despite ending up on the losing side, Davies impressed for Wales throughout the Final - especially in the first half with his assist for Ashley Evans' first try.
The Ospreys fly-half, who is the son of current Gloucester boss Nigel Davies, credited England for their second half performance as Wales lost 15-23.
"The JWC is a great tournament to play at and I have just taken it one step at a time and I have grown as a player," said Davies.
"We stuck to our game plan in the first half of the match but England came out strong and just beat us in the second half really. Congratulations to them though."
