The Ospreys have been handed a boost ahead of Sunday's clash with Leicester after fly-half Dan Biggar hinted at a new deal in Swansea.
Biggar, who is arguably the favourite to take the Welsh number ten jersey in the upcoming Six Nations, is set to pen a three-year contract.
"We are in advanced talks and I am hoping to get something sorted over the next couple of weeks," he told BBC Wales Sport. "I am very happy here."
The news will also come as a fillip for Welsh rugby as it follows Alex Cuthbert agreeing a new deal at Cardiff Blues, with Biggar happy to stay.
"The three things I am asking myself are: Am I happy, am I going financially looked after and are we a competitive side?" the fly-half added.
"All three of those things have matched, so as long as we can get something signed in the next few weeks, I will be very happy."
"I have had nothing on the table (from Top 14 sides) and I am happy here and this is where I want to continue to play as long as we keep hold of players like Khan [Fotuali'i] and a strong forward pack, I'm happy to stay."
