To be honest i dont see any reason for WG to rush his revovery apart from maybe a morale boost..With modern technology live video streaming ,and conferance calling. He can watch the training sessions and talk to RH and co all in real time from his bed if he wants .He can also offer his opinions and thoughts on selection and tatics ,and who needs what training focus ect .Much better imho that he recovers fully .After all he has a very demanding task in 2013 picking and coaching the Lions .and wont be involed with Wales at all to the Aurtum of 2013.

I hope he makes it there, watching the tests on tv at home wouldn't be any fun, and he can still offer a lot in terms of selection and tactic, wheelchair/crutches won't stop that.
