England fly-half Freddie Burns insists there is no fear in the squad ahead of taking on New Zealand in the final Test in Hamilton.

The All Blacks have taken the series, winning by five points and one point respectively in the first two matches, but Burns knows England have run the world champions close.

"We fronted up fantastically well in the first two games and ran them very close," said Burns.

"Hopefully we can go that step further and get the win, which would be fantastic.

"We're massively confident. They've gone on a great run and we knew before we came out that it was going to be a tough challenge to win the series and win a game over here.

"It's an opportunity you can't be daunted by. You've just got to go out there and really play and get excited at the prospect of playing the All Blacks in their own back yard.

"In that first Test we probably slipped off for five minutes at the end and they scored the try at the death. In the second Test we probably slipped off for 10 to 15 minutes at the start of the second half.

"It's about staying on point for the whole duration, sticking to the game-plan and making sure that we take any opportunities given to us."

Burns comes back into the side alongside Ben Youngs at half-back following injuries to Danny Care and Owen Farrell, but hopes the combinations from the first Test can carry on from where they left off.

"It's unfortunate that Danny Care and Owen Farrell have picked up injuries but it opens the door again for Ben Youngs and myself, and Kyle and Manu back at 12 and 13, to really continue that good start we had in the first Test," added Burns.

"We're all excited, we're all looking forward to the challenge and hopefully we can pick up where we left off in the first Test."
