Worcester front-row Matt Mullan has been called into the England squad as cover for Harlequins loosehead Joe Marler, who has a tight hamstring.
The 25-year-old has made one Test appearance and started both midweek games on the 2012 June international tour to South Africa.
Northampton Saints forwards Dylan Hartley and Courtney Lawes are undergoing scans on their knee injuries on Monday. The pair were both forced off during their side's 16-6 defeat to Saracens at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday.
An update on the severity of the injuries is set for Tuesday when the scans have been analysed.

Never really seen Mullan's strong points. Corbs was a good find, injured, Marler OK needs more time injured. I hope we start with Vunipola, but marler may make it.
