@Headhunter99- Actually, I had the misfortune of spending quite a lot of time in the UK, although thankfully that is behind me now. You are (almost) right about one thing..most people in the UK certainly don't speak like that. In fact, the vast majority of the population sounds like English is their third language. However, when I was there I met plenty of toffee nosed Oxford types who even made my little "By George" impersonation sound positively working class. (And by the way, don't take this too harshly. It's just a little gentle ribbing from me...come one, you blokes can have a field day with a Saffa accent...and quite often do!)

@AVP1 - I've tried to be reasonable about old Bok-the-persecuted but even in my short time on these forums I now realise its a waste of time.
@BokAvenger - when was the last time if ever you were in the UK, if evernone of us speak like that anymore , you just make yourself seem more dense every posting. I've travelled a lot in SA and I thank God you must be in the absolute minority of citizens from that wonderful and hospitable land. End of !!

@ Headhunter99 - I agree that everyone should have their say and this is a public forum after all. My issue is the contrast between BA's sensible and rugby-related posts and his daft conspiricy theories.
BA - we know that you think that the world, especially NZ, is conspiring against the Boks and all things Saffa. It's an accepted and appreciated argument, albeit one which many do not agree with. So it is no longer necessary to keep repeating yourself ad nauseum. Stick to the sensible stuff. Please.

@Headhunter: You're right old chap. It was just awful of us boorish boers to manhandle Her Majesty's finest four rugby playing nations on international television. By George, it just wasn't cricket old chum.

@APV1 - I do agree with your comments but we do have to let @BokAvenger have his say, freedom of speech not matter how misguided or boring is sacrosanct.
BTW @BokAvenger - you'll notice the more liberal of us do not go on about certain the awful behavoiur of a certain SA player on that tour Old history, not ever worth bringing up again

@ Bok-A-Whinger - I have to agree that PdV put out the 'B' Team:
15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Odwa Ndungane, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Wynand Olivier, 11 Jongi Nokwe, 10 Morn¿teyn, 9 Fourie du Preez, 8 Ryan Kankowski, 7 Juan Smith, 6 Heinrich Brussow, 5 Victor Matfield, 4 Johann Muller, 3 John Smit, 2 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 1 Tendai Mtawarira.
Replacements: 16 Bismarck du Plessis, 17 Guthro Steenkamp, 18 Dean Carstens, 19 Steven Sykes, 20 Pierre Spies, 21 Ruan Pienaar, 22 Frans Steyn.
What a load of rubbish.
@ Ed - do we really have to have this same old tosh? I thought BA had mended his ways, but this conspiricy nonsense is getting very tiresome. And I am annoyed with myself that I've let myself be drawn in.

@Headhunter: no we got whacked in the 3N because we had a player sent off in just about every game, the most ridiculous of which was Allain Rolland sending off Danie Rossouw for tapping Richie McCaw on the head. Apparently we didn't get the IRB directive that anyone who ruffles Sir Richie's hair will be barred from playing.
And the WCup, well if you can't see that we were reffed right out of that tournament deliberately by a cheating Kiwi then you need your head read. Funny how you have nothing to say about the Lions series though eh? Her Majesty's finest from all her 4 kingdoms smashed by a few `yarpies' [sic]. Ha, ha, ha, ha...can't wait for this England series

@BokAvenger PdV was obviously picking a lot of Bok "B" teams the way you Saffas got whacked in recent Tri-Nats and the world cup.
You should use that as a better excuse than biased refereeing.....
Seems to me you'd only be happy if we all bowed down and proclaimed SA as the best team in the world NOT.

Love the way everyone in the UK goes on about how the Lions "won" the 3rd test yet they will never ever mention that Peter de Villiers picked a Bok 'B' team for that game

Far from a long term option, very lucky to be chosen really, but will bring experience, physicality and knowledge of the SA environment. A mid week side player I would expect.
