Highly inappropriate for both parts.

Campo is coaching ther Sharks backline who are one of the worst performing in the S15 this year. So that will look good on the CV when the ERU evaluate his credentials

Isn't that Rupeni standing next to him. Imagine that for an England coaching duo. Everyone will be goose stepping training and having half time cava with a fosters chaser.

Is this some kind of late April fools joke??? Almost as good as last year when PR wrote that Martin Johnson was thinking making a comeback haha.

On a serious note though Mike Cat would be an ideal candidate for the SA tour, however I would like to add that every effort should be made to get Smith onboard, but should Mike Catt be a roaring success I would still keep him as part of the coaching set up.

Campo has never said a good word about England so I can only imagine that he is only interested in the financial aspect of working with the side and this for me isn't a good enough reason to get the job, no thanks Campo.

Let me just check my calendar, nope definitely the end of April not the beginning.

@sirtidychris, I'll keep quite about the howler, don't think anyone noticed.

Wayne Smith to stay in NZ . He said he would be very uncomfortable taking his book of knowledge to England. Campo putting his hand up could mean its already a given Smith won't leave NZ .

I for one hope he doesn't. I'm loving watching The Chiefs with him and Rennie in charge.

Having someone with his experience working under a total novice like S.L. just doesn't seem right to me.And therein lies the problem.

Wayne Baynes - wtf is he?

melkdave says...

Surly they mean P.Bl;ake the ex wallabies backs coach

Posted 12:48 25th April 2012

Nicholas41 says...

Some might say that if he has been coaching Brad Barritt then he's nowhere near what is required....

And I doubt Barritt's stout defence was coached by Campo..."An' when he comes straight at ya, jump well out of the way, mate"

sirtidychris says...

Haha noooo way ! keep this pomme bashing pillock as far away from the set up as possible....Mike Catt for interim and Wayne Baynes for permanent....What next Austin Healey coaching the wallabies...at least the follically challenged may get some hair replacement advice.
