It seems like a really long time since super Q. Cooper showed us some magic.

The time is nigh. I used to like his game but now I'm worried he might just be as over-rated as D. Pocock and clearly out of form. Bad form.

Is over-rated veteran player N.Sharpe still going to be in the starting line-up and play full 90minutes or R. Simmons? The latter has got to be it. He has been part of the Reds set-up and will excel alongside players like W. Genia, Q. Cooper, S. Higginbottom and R. Samo. N. Sharpe should be kicked out of the team because he doesn't have the pace for Test rugby. He is a liability, will put the team under pressure and Springboks will wiin.

s15rules says...

@ truth hurts, he will be boks best attacking player those big forwards will scare him out of the game! One season wonder

Put your $ on a embarrased bok team too bounce back.

Arron Cruden imo is best attacking 1st in world

@melkdave says..."Well R.Deans said QC wasnt a 100%" I agree with that! I've always rated QC at about 4/10.

Should be an interesting game, Australia have a chance to really expose our weakness at looking after the ball - with probably the best counter attacking rugby players in the world or HM will be proven right with the drive it up the middle and smash game plan. I hope HM is right and I will be shouting my head off at the TV come Sat of course (chewing on my biltong), but my head tells me we will be exposed.

@Ramage, think they would get voted off on Dancing with the Stars, but Swan lake does fit Coopers kicking stance, although I think Styen will take the male lead.

Wallaroo says...

"Best attacking no. 10 in the world", definitely not. Trinats we have enough problems at the moment without being put into further jeopardy by playing a temperamental flyhalf. While Cooper has moments of brilliance he also has periods of stupidity which can be extremely costly.

Barnes is a much better no. 10, solid and reliable, at an international level reliability and consistency are a lot more important and effective.

Ramage says...

@SACanuck I hope you are not suggesting it is going to be "Dancing With The Stars?" Or will it be just "Come Dancing ?" Then again being played in Perth possibly "Swan Lake."

Ah Cooper and Steyn slapping each other with their powder puffs. Maybe even the wife will watch these 2 dancing around.

melkdave says...

Well R.Deans said QC wasnt a 100%,which was why B.Barnes started the 1st test in Brisbane. As @Kiwilad and othes including myself, pointed out then ,the inclusion of QC in the starting 15,for the 2nd test , looked rushed and smelt a little of panic by R.Deans and his staff, and how can you blame him, after al it seems that every campaign and after every match ,theres people crying out for him to be sacked. As if its his fault that players are injured or out of form ,or that australian rugby just hasnt got the quality players to cover those top players when injured ect Australias problems are strutual and longstanding ,all the coach can do is work with what he has ,and make the best of it.In that regard R.Deans has done a magnificant job imho.As to the upcomming match against the bokke,i feel Australia will have to improve a hell of alot in many atreas,Intensity, ball control, tatical kicking, and 1st up tackling,or the bokke will dominate possesion and go on to win ,as they really should have at the RWC,Australia where perhaps lucky the bokke squandered so many chances.,and their defence was very very good that day.

Ferdie says...

trinats2 - attacking what? people outside a nighclub with kurtley is not an answer thanks

has he ever 'attacked' successfully at top international level?

i don't think teams fear him in any way.

note he's averaging just under two points per test. better than nil i suppose.

@s15rules the Boks are not the AB's and therefore can't afford to be so cocky ;)
