Always reckoned Barnes had the flair & level headedness to compliment & balance Cooper's X-factor in creating the link that will give space for the outsides on attack & options with the tactical variations in changing game dynamics.

The way Barnes looked after Copper's tackle, I don't think he'll be fully recovered by the time Australia next play, especially with his history of concussions.

In America, there has been a lot of issues with players suffering long term effects from repeated concussions, most notably with Junior Seau committing suicide this year.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junior_Seau

"After his death, there was that speculation Seau suffered brain damage due to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition traced to concussion-related brain damage with depression as a symptom."

I think this is a good decision Barnes has been playing well and is now settled in that position as far as the test side goes! Cooper needs more game time coming off the bench, both have their advantages but maybe Copper can be an impact player at this point in time with Barnes calling the shot for the first 60 mins etc depending on the way the game is going! Whether they stack the bench with forwards and limit the backline replacement options is anyone's guess!

I don't have much faith in R. Deans based on the results he has produced with the Wallabies so far. Unless Wallabiies win the Rugby Championship, ARU should sack him and package back to Kiwiland.

Damn, damn, damn, just when the ABs were looking like certs Dingo moves the goalposts. Seriously though, Oz is a much better team with Barnes there assuming his "head" is right, no thanks to mr Cooper. More balance and solidity. Still don't rate Cooper at international level against the better teams.
