@Pearcewreck - it's not necessarily about playing against the Lions, more what jonesy2 said about the opportunities for Wallabies selection. Don't let that get in the way of your sad little rant, however. And you all seem to care when you lose it, or are you in fact only fifteen years old?

@ Pearcewreck - I'm a little reluctant to take your word as the oracle of all things SH. You just seems a little mercenary and not much of a sport.

Thankfully we can look forward to "radio silence" from the whole of the SH during the Lions Tour then, can we? No. But hopefully you'll keep your ill-informed opinions to yourself.

@ edhutson - you say that as though you think that any one in the south cares about the Lions tours. Sorry to break it to you, but we only care about Lions tours because of the cash.

Show me the money!!!!

Apart from that no-one, and I mean no-one really cares about the British and Irish Lions in the south.

I mean, really, the Lions are an embarrasement. The best of the 4 nations teams get together and still only manage one live Test match win in the last 3 tours.

Look at the last 9 Lions Test results,

2001 WLL 2005 LLL 2009 LLW

The last win doesn't count as the Jarpies had allready won the series. So one meaningful win, the first Test v Wallabies in 01, and nothing since.

I genuinly beleive the 4 Nations would be better off without the Lions.

The Tri Nations countries however wouldn't be, because we need the money.

@ curates_egg - thank you for voicing the gag I had rejected.

And I meant "excellent AT letting players go, but..."

Hear! Hear! We (Bath) seem to be excellent and letting players go, but the "In Box" seems a little sparse at the moment. Exeter have recruited well there and I suspect will keep improving next season. I just wish we had some of their magic.

Great signing by Exeter, once again Bath recruiters take note!!!!!!!!!! I have been very impressed with Exeter this season and they have done remarkably well to build on the amazing season that they had last year, I hope they get some funds together and compete in Europe next season as well. Good luck lads!!!!!!
