Injuries to Mahonri Schwalger and Ben Afeaki mean the Chiefs will call up two replacements before facing the Cheetahs on Saturday.
Schwalger needs another operation on an eye injury, while Afeaki suffered a concussion against the Bulls.
The Chiefs still have Ben Tameifuna and Josh Hohneck to cover tighthead prop but will need one more body as cover, while Schwalger was a replacement against the Bulls.
Hika Elliott is also out injured for the champions, leaving Rhys Marshall as the clear starting hooker.
The Chiefs scored five tries in their 34-34 draw with the Bulls at Loftus, keeping them narrowly top of the New Zealand Conference ahead of the Blues.
Head coach Dave Rennie was delighted with the visitors late comeback at altitude.
"I am really proud of the boys, it was a helluva comeback with a lot of character shown," said Rennie.
"We lost the kicking battle really, we kicked poorly and we didn't hang on to enough ball and our lineouts struggled in the first half.
"With 11 minutes to go and down by 16 points we are happy to take three points out of it.
"There are a lot of teams that would have folded today and got a bit of a spanking in the last 10 minutes.
"It is a group of guys that don't know when to give in...today it was good enough to grab three points."
