Exiled Australian playmaker James O'Connor looks set to join European champions Toulon next season, if reports in the French press are to be believed.
L'Equipe reports that it is a "certainty" that the 23-year-old former Wallaby will leave London Irish for the French club, although the duration of the deal is not yet known. La Provence also reported the deal as complete.
In November, O'Connor was spotted meeting with Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal and director of recruitment Laurent Emmanuelli, 24 hours after his London Irish debut.
O'Connor's contract with Irish only runs until the end of the Aviva Premiership season, having been released by the Australian Rugby Union earlier this year.
With former Wallabies Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell already playing at the Stade Felix Mayol, the Heineken Cup champions may well become O'Connor's next destination.
