Anthony Perenise Bath powers his way to score v Worcester Warriors

Try for Bath: Anthony Perenise

Worcester lost their seventh consecutive Premiership match after Bath became the latest team to win at Sixways with 21-6 success on Friday.

Bath picked up another priceless away win in terrible conditions as tries in either half from Anthony Perenise and Horacio Agulla and a man-of-the-match performance from back-rower and captain Francois Louw saw the visitors to victory.

Worcester remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just two losing bonus points to their name. Bath, meanwhile, provisionally move up to second place behind Saracens.

George Ford put last weekend's indifferent goal-kicking display behind to land all four of his kicks at goal in the first half.

The fly-half put Bath 9-0 up through three penalties - the third coming from just inside the Warriors' half after Chris Jones had been found to be offside.

He then converted Perenise's 29th-minute try, which came after Matt Garvey had picked off Agustin Creevy's wayward line-out throw near his own line.

It was a tough blow for Worcester to take particularly after they had been denied a try only minute earlier when Anthony Watson had pulled off a brilliant cover tackle on wing Dean Hammond.

Paul Warwick finally got the under-fire Warriors on the board with a penalty a minute before the break.

Worcester clawed another three points back from Warwick's boot before Bath effectively made the game safe when Agulla touched down approaching the hour mark.
