Saracens flanker Jacques Burger has voiced his desire to establish Allianz Park as a fortress for the 2013/14 season.
The powerful Namibian forward was speaking ahead of their first home Premiership game of the campaign, against Gloucester this Sunday.
"It's special playing at Allianz Park" he told Saracens' official website.
"I played there against Bedford for the first time in one of our preseason games the other week and the atmosphere was fantastic; it's our home and that is really important to us, so we have to make Allianz Park our fortress this season."
Burger is wary of the challenge posed by Gloucester on the weekend, but is excited to play at a venue that really feels like home for the club.
"We are going to make it tough for teams when they come and visit us and we're looking forward to welcoming Gloucester on Sunday. They'll provide a really tough challenge for us and after their disappointment last weekend they'll be fired up for their visit here," he added.
"There are no easy challenges in the Premiership, so we know we will have to be prepared come Sunday afternoon, and we're really looking forward to playing our first home game in front of our fantastic fans. Personally, I can't wait for the game.
"After playing for so long at rented accommodation at Vicarage Road it feels great to run out at a stadium with our name above the front door."
