Leicester winger Miles Benjamin's injury woe looks set to continue after it was confirmed that he may miss the start of the Aviva Premiership season.
Benjamin joined the Tigers last year, but is yet to make his first-team debut after injuring his neck in September during an A League game at Northampton.
It was hoped that the 25-year-old would make a welcome return to the fray ahead of the 2013/14 campaign, but Leicester boss Richard Cockerill concedes this looks unlikely.
"Miles may not make the start of the season," Cockerill told the BBC.
"It is a bit like Tom Croft with the [neck] injury he had - the timescale is not the important thing, it is getting it 100% right."
