Bayonne and Biarritz played out a 6-6 draw in the Basque derby on Friday in a result that does little for either side.
In a game that was scoreless until the half-hour, South African Jacques-Louis Potgieter was the man to finally break the deadlock for the hosts.
He then doubled his side's tally three minutes later but that lead was halved before the break when Dimitri Yachvili slotted his first points.
The scoring did not improve in the second-half as only a Yacvhili penalty - while Fabien Barcella was in the sin-bin - was recorded in a result that lifts Biarritz provisionally above Stade Franšais.
